Orientation on the Responsibilities of Deacons and Deaconesses Held at SPAC College and Academy Churches

On August 22, 2026, an Orientation on the Responsibilities of Deacons and Deaconesses was conducted for the SPAC College and Academy churches, providing church leaders and ministry workers with a clearer understanding of their roles in supporting the mission and ministry of the local church.

The orientation was conducted by Pr. Jaffet Legario, Communication Director of Davao Mission, who shared important insights on the duties and responsibilities of deacons and deaconesses in serving the congregation and supporting various church programs and activities.

The discussion emphasized the vital role of deacons and deaconesses in fostering an organized, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for worship and fellowship. Participants were also encouraged to carry out their responsibilities with commitment, humility, and a genuine spirit of service.
